This scene was used for to make sound effects and sound clips that was taken from the transformation scene of An American Werewolf in London.
and that’s how this scene was inspired by John Landis and Rick Baker’s working scene for An American Werewolf in London, because Michael Jackson saw the movie back in 1981 at that old movie theater somewhere in Hollywood and in Los Angeles
when it was released 40 years ago right now,
and then he loved the good special effects and make up work by Rick Baker, and then after that
he contact John Landis & Rick Baker to make his own version of the werewolf into a hybrid werewolf into a panther-werewolf.
so that awesome scene will be inspired An American Werewolf in London and the zombies will be inspired by Night of the Living Dead.

When I saw this as a little kid it was so realistic that I thought it was real. My little brain couldn’t comprehend how someone could make that happen with special effects so I just assumed it was real. Now that I’m older I understand how it works and I’ve gained a lot appreciation for this kind of stuff. Also having now learned of American Werewolf in London I notice the similarities and I it’s very cool.

Everyone calls it a werewolf but it was actually a werepanther according to Michale and the reason it looked so good was because it was based off the werewolf transformation in an American werewolf in London same creature designer made his costume and transformation scene Michale loved the movie and wanted something like it for thriller and he got it
