The California Medicare Supplement/Medigap Brithday Rule to Switch Plans

There are only two states, California and Oregon, that I'm aware of, that have the Medicare Supplement Birthday rule.

The Medicare Supplement Birthday rules means that you can switch your Medicare Supplement plan from like to like (Plan F to Plan F) or you can downgrade to a lower MedSupp plan (Plan F to a Plan G) as a guarantee during your birthday month.

This is huge for our clients here in CA because they know that if their carriers premiums are becoming too expensive, that they can find a different plan during their birthday month. It adds flexibility.
