Answer for no. 13 is C as it is molten hence sodium at the cathode and chlorine at the anode! Sorry about that

Hello, the answer for number 13 is C because molten NaCl produces sodium at the negative electrode not hydrogen.

for Q15 wouldn't temp of the reaction increase so you could also say D or are they talking about the room tempreature

Not very important but in question 39 :
Ethanol is C2H5OH
Not H4..

Question 13, the molten sodium chloride would gain sodium at the cathode not hydrogen

wait is the Na not pointing to this side to show that the electrons move from the cathode to the anode?
if so it should be B
i dont really believe that guy in the mark scheme cuh i think the postion of the elements show the postion of if they are in cathode or anode side
so Na is in cathode Cl is in anode so it should be B??

sir in Question 30 the NO3 has a negative sign meanin it has one less proton hence it has lost the proton meaning it cant be a base, so shudnt the answer be C - 1

This is an extremely helpful video 👍🏽, but Q5 should be fractional distillation (D). Apart from that and some other clarified uncertainties, keep it up @IGCSE Online !

Shouldn't the answer to 34 be C? Slaked lime is used to desulfurize gas, slaked lime is calcium hydroxide, and lime is calcium oxide.

Hi sir,
Why isn’t the answer for question 11: D? Don’t electrons go from negative to positive?

13 should be c not a because it said molten

Hi sir, do you have paper 4 PDF ? May you send one to me?

Does anyone have the answers for paper 21 0620

q34 is C not B since slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) is used for FGD rather than just lime (calcium oxide)
