Opinion-I really loved the Scooby Doo movie as a kid and still like it as an adult, but watching the Brady Bunch movie, I feel the satire would have also been really cool.

I actually think/hope they’ll make a third one set 20 years later about an aged Mystery Inc and could kind of complete it as a trilogy, with them going into retirement and finding a new gang to replace them. I’d also weirdly want a Scrappy redemption arc, with them visiting him like Hannibal Lecter.

So, your telling me that a live action adult Scooby Doo movie is a no no, but if it's animated, "go right ahead and go wild!" Huh? That's, interesting.

The studio made the right call. Nobody remembers the Brady Bunch movie, but 2002’s Scooby Doo remains iconic. At the end of the day, fans love these IPs. There’s no reason to sh*t all over them. Just give us a loving adaptation and we’ll show up in droves for it. That’s what modern Hollywood has forgotten

Honestly I’m glad they kept them straight. Im gay and there’s no need for them to change their sexual orientation. Daphne and Fred are a straight couple period. On the other hand Velma does work as a bi woman but personally she works better as a straight or just asexual in general.

The Velma show already proves that would have been a terrible idea. It was a great decision to change it.

This girl really helped get me through my teenage years, if you get what I'm saying.

Good because scooby doo is for kids and parents would be pissed as they should be. Remember how they tried to make Velma woke and gay in that show Velma ? How did that go. Oh yeah not good.

Hollywood needs to stop trying to sexualize children's characters.

They didn’t chicken out. They had a few morals left. Thank god they kept it how it was released.

Glad they didn't. Some things don't need to pander to adult audiences.

It's not chickened out, it's for families

Bro even as a child, I thought this movie was for adults because of the humor. This makes so much sense to me now! terrible idea making it PG tho. This movie was actually so good and had the potential to do way better than it already did

Yes as a woman Velma was my dream girl

Thank God for this never happening, I remember watching this movie as a kid and enjoying it. That idea would've flopped like the Velma series.

I don't want to see Velma and Daphne doing the L thing, but the randy lil' devil in me would not complain about seeing Linda Cardellini and Sarah Michelle Gellar doing that. lol

Well if they had done this I would have lost my mind

Oh wow, you mean Hollywood took a beloved kids show and tried to make it gay and inappropriate? *IMAGINE MY SHOCK* 🙄 only surprised they reversed course

There’s a deleted scene where Velma sings “you’re just too good to be true” while drunk
its funny AND rather hot lol
