I never noticed Linda until this extremely well-written show. She does sweet authenticity better than anyone. But Applegate is a force to be reckoned with. OMG! She kills this part - takes irony to a new level and if there were ever a movie version of Desperate Housewives with a darker turn, she should be the ringleader. Having said that, I think Hollywood must be in awe of her range. It is her time.

God I love this woman. First on ER, then Freaks and Geeks (I discovered it late). Mad Men was great exposure for a sadly underwritten, overwrought role. Avengers was delightful. And the past six months she's finally having things align for her in a major way. Totally crushing it with the lead female role in Best Picture Green Book, then Endgame, that horror movie AND Dead to Me simultaneously. What a crazy good year for her and I couldn't be happier for her. She deserves to be huge, and has deserved it ever since her incredible work on F&G.
