My 6000 DOES come with lifetime cameras as well as maps and traffic. I agree it is getting slower.

I've just bought the 6200 and find it very difficult to use, my Tomtom live (several years old) was very easy to use so learning how to use the 6200 is not easy. I've plugged it in to update, it's been updating for 4 hours and still only 67% done (seems to be stuck on 67%?) Probably another 3 hours and it should be done. Would be better if just the UK could be updated, I really don't need other countries. So far I'm not impressed at all but time will tell, perhaps I should have bought a Garmin?

That word life time`
The manufactures give us, life time maps that you down loaded within the devices life time,
(Not our life time, ) the manufactar gives 5 years i heard of live updates, after that your device wont up date the next year, so your stuck with old maps` is this true,
I find that when they get slow its because the same thing phone companies do, F-ck us over.
I for one are sick to death paying over and over for devices that I know aint going to be any good a few years down the line,
Sorry for the rant not aimed at you buddy, just when i heard that word life time,

with world maps ! this one will go slow as well it will be interesting to see if the batteries is any better as the previous one is rubbish . you have to keep it on its stand for setting or it goes off.

They might be good but they're nowhere near as good as the old 1005.
This had much clearer maps, I could read every bend on country lanes, and view a map summary of my route, zooming in and out to see details. You could save your own points of interest and set up new points of interest categories, do Google searches and enjoy more settings than the 6200.
I upgraded to the 6100, but was so disappointed I reverted to my trusty old 1005 which, sadly is now dying.

With respect I don't think the battery life issue isn't unimportant. I have to say that if it weren't for the live traffic update feature, the 5000 and 6000 series are rubbish.

Booring, too many uhs and mms, could have been done in 10 minutes no need to repeat the data 3 times over. Batteries grow old, and loose time, that's a fact of life, but TT still haven't made them changeable I guess. Thank God for the aftermarket.

Don't buy a TomTom they will eventually stop supporting and it wont get gps in a few years time

This could have been done much better and quicker with less stuttering, pauses and repetition and "you know's". Unpolished and a big snooze. Do it better Lifestyle King!
