Anyone else catch the Stockholm syndrome reference?

If not: Stockholm syndrome is a (swedish I believe?) barbershop quartet whom sang the song, "Hairspray" for the 2016 national barbershop convention quarterfinals, in which they used real cans of hairspray, spraying it Everytime they mentioned hairspray. They're now known for this gag, and is often associated with their group.

Loving their selection of songs this year, newfangled four throws out a bunch of references I only got by sorting through the comments, where people leave helpful tips, like this one too. Want more references, check out when nf4 sings "Wells Fargo wagon", that song is 90% barbershop jokes. The comments supply a heaping amount of explaination for each reference, and it's also a fantastic song.

TL;DR the hairspray is a reference to the group Stockholm Syndrome spraying hairspray in one of their shows.
