16 years after 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' Raleigh family says it's a gift that keeps on giving

Before all the wildly popular home renovation TV shows, there was 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' on ABC. Years ago, that show came to Raleigh and changed the life of the Riggins.

I can’t even watch these stories without crying. There’s nothing I’ve wanted anything as bad and as long as I’ve wanted a home that feels good for me and my family. My oldest son is almost 17. I pray he will get to live this dream with me before leaving on his own.
