What the Cuban government should consider is to establish a volunteer system where by individuals would receive proper protective ware and tools to clean up the garbage in the streets. Havana is a beautiful historical city to visit.

Learn basic Spanish, get your tourist visa or support for people, bring humanitarian aid a doctor clinic can donate or veterinary supplies for rescues , bring basic hygiene products as gifts . Cash only goes so far as tips but a gift creates a friendship that will last . Any shop will accept usd . Bring battery booster for your phone resorts are stocked and generator power fully . Kindness and respect goes a long way

My opinion based on my December trip .. I found WIFI accessible in almost every Airbnb.. but that’s in Havana.. not sure about elsewhere..

Definitely bring personal care items.
