Hey I'm thinking of getting this headphones and the video was cool but I have a question related to your Rode Video Micro. How did you get a long cable? I have the one it came with (TRS to TRS short and coiled) and the one to use it with smartphones/laptops (TRS to TRRS, also short and coiled). I tried buying many cables going from female TRRS to male TRRS so as to extend the tiny one Rode makes but the microphone just doesn't pick up. I saw in this video you used a different cable to the officially Rode one....can you help me? Thanks

I was using Beyerdynamic DT 770 for monitoring for years - now I'm trying out ATH M40x and in comparison these have soo much more bass almost can't handle it ^^

i got some nice at m40x but...
Why do mine turn up and down the volume by themselves? when i play a song at let's say 50% volume they're fine until the loud part of the song comes and then they turn down the volume without me doing anything and when the song goes quiet again the headphones turn up the volume
it's almost as if they're trying to have the volume be the same ALL THE TIME instead of letting me hear the quiet parts as they are and same goes for loud, like i want it to be loud if that's how they made the song... weird

Everything that is digital to analogue is a DAC. It's the quality of said DAC AND importantly the application, eg. Car aux in are always hyped sound because phones have bad sound, even your LG phone (sorry it's true), they hype the sound to compensate for terrible phone trs output.
Your computer headphones dac is designed for more efficient and less balanced bud phones.

Man did u see the size of your ears any headphones will hurt you.... You need a custom made pad for thoses flying machine...

Hey man, I really want a good Over-ear headphones, but I can't decide which ones are the best for me. My options are the M40X, Focal Spirit One S, Sennheiser HD 4.30. I want these to listen on the bus, street, house, computer..etc, which one do you think are the best? do you have any recommendation? is there a really big difference with the m40x when you plug in on the phone? are the m40x good at the noise canceling?
