Just a recommendation, you could try the way welch labs went about complex numbers
I understand that your series will be much longer and in depth, and that python doesn't have as long drawn a history as maths, or complex numbers for that matter, but his videos were, not entertainment first, and they managed to garner views, in 100ks if I remember right.
