This is my final project for computer animation course when I was still a student in the MSc program of Columbia. It's a smoky demonstration and review of a bunch of well-known graphics techniques of which themselves or some more improved versions have wide impact to both graphics academia and industry. All the mentioned works are selected based on their citation counts in Microsoft Academic Search and Google Scholar.

Images and music are courtesy of their original authors.

From this video and the rest on the channel I can tell that you have a great love for the field that is computer graphics. It is honestly inspiring. I am currently enrolled to begin a masters in computer graphics (and hopefully a PhD afterwards). At times it is hard for me to find meaning in the pursuit of my goals, but it is much easier for me to rekindle some meaning from seeing others work in the field. I’ve been struggling with this recently, and seeing this progress over so many years from so many people reminds me why I want to go down this path.
