Review Midori Ideas Notebook

First of all - the apologies. This is a new set-up for me. After iMovie failed on me five times last week, I decided to move to a more reliable piece of software, and came to choose DaVinci Resolve - and so far, it's looking brilliantly clever ... which has led to certain glitches for me! However, it appears to be resolving (Hah!) itself and I think I'm getting closer to being used to it. But there is a lot to learn. Bear with me! Hopefully by next week I'll have ironed out how to add comments and make the lighting work better! Wish me luck!

The Cafe Notes is a stupendous notebookI I happen to love the squares and now the lined ones as well. I have this idea diary from Midori and it use it to test inks with my dip pen! Love the utility of the notebook for that...really not enough pages for me to do much else with it. I love practicing my handwriting with it. Love your set up! I love watching you write, you have such nice writing! Thanks again for another great video!

Congratulations on the new set-up. Very nice production. You looked a bit red in the face at the beginning but I suspect that you were embarrassed on my behalf as I was watching your video in my undies - we've been having a bit of a heat wave over here in Nova Scotia. I, too, love my Midori notebooks (got many sizes) and Nanami A5's dotted - I love writing mathematical proofs in them. You faded to black at the end but I waited, hoping that you will give us some outtakes (like in those superhero movies) of you fumbling with your new set-up while being tackled by your dogs. Alas, no. Still, it was a very good video.

Nanami B6 slim/cafe note you can get in grid or ruled - also comes in A5 and A6 sizes.. the A5 comes in blank Tomoe River paper as well

The new camera set up is just fine, looks good from our viewing end. Oh, how I love Midori notebooks they are really well made. A little tip the Midori MD notebooks there is a plastic slip jacket available separately to protect them, I usually use a bit of nice scrapbook paper over the book before I put it in the sleeve. :)

The new setup works nicely! I have been impressed with the Travelers Company inserts that I have used. I really must expand my experience with Midori’s other offerings. On the pen front, my dear husband has implied that we may take a camping trip close to my favorite pen store for our anniversary... I may finally get my Visconti Homo Sapiens!

Really like the new setup. Also love my Midori paper. I have quite a few notebooks of varying sizes, all spiral-bound though and they work very well, even with my Noodler's inks. I will have to look out for that Ideas Notebook in the future though. It looks great. Agree about the Japanese respecting their paper. They seem to be like that in everything they do.

Michael - you may already know, but Nanami does make a ruled B6 cafe note. It’s available on their site for $18 US. If you haven’t perused their site before it’s well worth a look.

Love the new setup; a real pleasure. Sound is great and picture is crisp. Can you post the link for the cafe notebook as well as the links for your non-Midori leather notebooks. They looked interesting and I would like to take a look at them. I am a huge fan of Roterfaden because of the clipping system.
