I've been considering getting on a waiting list to purchase a new X100V, a friend of mine got his a few weeks ago from B&H, paid MSRP. But I already have a X100F and honestly, it works great for my needs.

I got a brand new X100V about 18 months ago for $1300. Last summer, one of the US military exchanges had the silver version on clearance for under $1000 delivered. If you don't need the camera, now would be a good time to sell it and then wait for the camera to come in stock again at the regular price or wait for the next model. I am going to keep mine because of the leaf shutter, very close minimum focus distance, and the fact that I can take it into concert venues that don't allow interchangeable lens cameras.

bough this when it first came out and i bought it at around $1500-$1600 its pretty wild thats its gone up to $2k.. i'm seeing people say its gone down to even $1300 .. its crazy that its gone up this high in price.

First! I got mine refurbished straight from Fuji for $999 and I swear it was brand new, after using it for 9 months now I can’t live without it, I’d pay over retail if I didn’t have this one

Got lucky and paid retail price for a used one with only 2200 on the shutter last month. Loving it so far!

I wanted to love this camera but it just didn't feel up to the build of something like the X-Pro3. The build is closer to the X-E4 and I guess it's expected at the price. I ended up selling mine after about a year of use above retail and I cannot say that I regret it.

One thing that bothered me is how the shutter speed dial feels and the viewfinder lever at the front feel straight up cheap. I hope that they build the next X100 to the standard of the X-Pro. It will sell as just look at how much this camera is selling on the used market. I'd happily pay ~$1800 if they can make it happen.

Over hyped for resale prices, xt5 with a small lens is perfect and you get more camera and let’s be real it’s not that heavy, I will get one for retail once they become available tho 😅

I was thinking on getting this camera. For $1400. Now, $1800 and up is too much, especially if the camera is used, so I'll wait. In the meantime I'm looking for alternatives.

I paid $1900 AUD new ($1277 USD today), 3 month wait but worth it! Would never spend the inflated prices though

It's not a $1300 camera. It costs $1399+tax, which equals $1508 US. So, yes, you paid a premium of around $400 if it were new. But, the options are to pay the premium or wait for the X100VI.
