We’re going to be looking at CushCore’s tire inserts, as well as some of their other products, including their Bead Dropper tire lever, valves and brand new Bead Bro tool. We also poll some folks at the shop to talk about why we love CushCore.

Tor crushed it! Well spoken and easy to understand. Explained it very clearly. I'm sure Mike is busy and while we love Mike, this guy will do 😉

Tor & Andrew killed this video! Good thing too - Mike was really dropping the ball with his mid-day calisthenics - glad to see he's getting back into gear! Stoked to see more videos to come.

Cushcore Pro is great! I run it on a Specialized Kenevo with 2.6" Maxxis Assegai and DHRII. It adds great additional sidewall support. I haven't had one pinch flat, and haven't dented a rim since installing them. There is much less feeling of the tire wanting to roll to the side on high grip surfaces, and on off-camber take offs or landings. One time I was coming down a mountain trail with some rocky terrain, and I got a big slice in a rear tire. I couldn't get the tire off the rim because the sealant was dried like glue, and it was getting late, so I rode 10 miles down the mountain on a flat, and the rim sustained NO damage at all.

Haven’t used cushcore but I’m liking the tannus tubeless amour. Easier install, way easier removal, lighter than a tube, still offers support, easier valve and sealant setups. Just seems a better design. I’d be curious to see you do a turn test with them to compare.

Well, you talked me into it. I just ordered a rear cush core for my Turbo Levo. I even remembered to get the right size (27.5). ;)

I used to run cushcore inserts with 8 psi front and 10 psi rear in the PNW wet and had mad traction on climbs and roots but could also smash descents with no worries. 25 psi at my weight would be crazy high. I can run 25 and have no issues without Cush core installed.

Nice work on this video! I run CC in the rear tire only. I was able to run EXO+ just fine with it, where previously had to run DD or DH casing to prevent flats.. And it feels better, more platted with the insert than without. Highly recommended product.

i have no idea how you did that on the side of the trail, i cant crack the bead with my hands with cushcore in, legend.

Cush core isn’t too bad for most rim setups although schwalbe tires and spank rims can make it nearly impossible some times

My top tip is to ignore the installation instructions. First put the tyre on the rim, then install the cushcore like you would a tube. That way one bead is already super tucked. I use old school toe straps to keep the tyre from creeping, but this new "tool" looks to do the same thing. My 2¢.
