Welcome to a day in my life as an instrument student at ATP Flight School. Hopefully, this sort of content is what you're looking for and to those who haven't started it yet, hopefully this helps you understand what to expect! Hit that like button if you want to see more ATP Flight School content like this! I have a lot of ideas so let me know if you want to see more of it!

Welcome to Taking Flight! If you’re new here, my name is Ethan Gregerson and I’m an 18-year-old student pilot out of Austin, TX. I’m super passionate about aviation and helping people, so I decided to start a channel dedicated to following me and my journey from a student pilot, to a captain at a major airline! As I work through my ratings, I will continue to make these videos to try and showcase the whole road from now, all the way up to airline pilot. If you’re interested in following my journey to the airlines, subscribe to this channel and make sure to like my videos to get this out to as many people as possible!

If you have any video ideas/requests, feel free to leave them down below in the comments and I’ll definitely be trying to get to as many requests as I can.

Learn your ground stuff before you go and you will be way ahead of the curve.

thinking of choosing ATP in Dallas, when I get out of the Army. I was gonna study in the Philippines, cause it's way cheaper, but it'll be a struggle to transfer license from pone country to another. I enjoyed this video. thank you.

I was a student pilot in Bangladesh. You are lucky enough to be starting your PPL at such a young age. Go ahead 🤙🏻

Love the content Ethan! Really inspiring stuff. I really admire your work ethic, cause I can't imagine how much energy it takes to do all of that + record + edit this video. I'm currently looking for a flight school in/near Connecticut; I'm considering ATP, but I have no prior experience/knowledge in aviation so it seems too fast for me haha. Would love to hear suggestions if any! :)

hope anyone that sees this considers not going to ATP, they will push you into checkrides when you're not ready and will kick you from the program if you don't maintain good standing with them. I have met way to many pilots that have worked with them that have horror story after horror story, accelerated programs aren't the only option, even so there are better schools than ATP!!!

Awesome! Thank you for the video. After putting some effort towards a PPL for leisure (about 40 hours, solo/pre-checkride phase), I'm really considering the career change at 27. I just got approved for an ATP loan and was wondering, would you recommend the 100 hour multi-engine option over the 25 hour? I know there are obvious benefits, but there are also some obvious drawbacks. I would love to hear your, or others', opinions. Any other tips are also appreciated!

How are you doing this? What lessons are you doing?

I have a question. All these things, weight and balance, nav log, airworthiness. I don't know what any of this is. Where you taught this via the ground school or did you have to learn this on your own? Thanks!

I’m a senior about to go to flight school at UVU. What are some good study methods that you use? Because I’ve always struggled finding ways to study and make it stick.
