Do you prefer rest areas or truck Stops? (Variant Trucking)

I normally don’t hit the truck stops until around 1 or 2 am (when they’re FULLY packed) and one thing I’ve learned is that it’s always easy to just create your own spot. Especially at the larger ones, where you can simply pull beside a parked truck and not be blocking anything.

Tell you what's honestly worked for me. Every time. No matter how late I pull into a truck stop. Heading to my planned stop I just asked God for a parking spot. I make sure to not park in anyone else's way and if I'm bobtail I keep out of the big spots as much as possible. He's never let me down. Worth a try my friend.

Definitely once it hits 6:30 or later that’s all I look for is rest area and their bathroom are cleaner than most truck stops

Yes I believe you I'm getting tired of fighting for spots at truck stops plus the restrooms are definitely cleaner than the truck stops I pick rest areas all day if I have too

Try looking for a spot on I-81 and I-64 in Virginia, you won’t find one.

In india out side of Citi there are lots of hotel (dhaba) where truck driver can eat food and sleep.

It's Walmart for me lol always quiet 😁 I haul Walmart trailers so Im good 😎

Not always and why are u not parking in other truck stops that aren't one I'd the big name truck stops. I always find parking and never park in the rest area or big name truck stops and I find better food and coffee
