Full time RV’ers 3 yrs now. We travel 4 to 5 hrs a day TOPS! We use rest stops to get the dogs out, use the restroom, refresh are drinks and snacks and stretch are legs. We’ve never cooked a meal at a rest stop. We eat a good breakfast and hit the road bout 9:30-10:00. At next stop 2:00-3:00pm. Allows time for traffic and the unforeseen! Be in next campground before dark! And have never slept in a Walmart parking lot! We have done several Harvest Host. Anyway that’s how we roll.

For us an 11 hour trip is like a 3 to 4 day. Only dive like 3 to 4 hours in a day. But retired and in no hurry to be any where quickly

We just wrapped up 2 weeks of Dog sitting the "grand-dogs."

Ironically, "Dog-Mom's surname is Smith
Jaque Smith.
For a Chihuahua Pomeranian mix, he's an incredibly stout chunk.

We have a diesel pusher too and we really enjoy being able to do this too. 🙂 I have also used our bathroom while waiting to pull onto a fuel island also.

we sadly dont have such a big motorhome but ours is small but good and that with the private bathroom i can totaly understand you some piblic ones are filled with shit

We have a 45 ft Tiffin and pull a Jeep and we do the same thing at rest areas. It is nice to make a lunch and walk the dogs.

The PA and Ohio turnpikes were great to travel to and from the RV show. It was just over 8 hrs each way for us.
