Yesterday I saw this film.. It's very well crafted indeed and Alister M. impersonating voice it is just splendid. A nice treat for Hitchcock's fans.. As myself 🌟

I just watched and I want to thank Dogwoof and Mark Cousins for bringing back this master again to our lives, this documentary is a gem, and hat off to Alister McGowan.

My favourite Hitchcock film is The Lodger (so underrated). I'm really looking forward to watching this new film!

Oh dear, was excited to see this but not so much after this trailer. The actor mimicking HItchcock's voice is passable - and it's a difficult task no question - but I find it a bit forced and distracting, to me it doesn't capture Hitchcocks opaque and darkly ironic tone. The director seems a bit too pleased with himself as well. Will reserve judgement until seeing it however.

¡Qué ganas de que se programe, por ejemplo, en Filmin!

Getting Micheal Caine to do the voice of Hitchcock was a stroke of genius

Mark Cousins = insufferable
Voice Over = ludicrous
+ a few drinks or a smoke = funniest film of the year?

Hitchcock's my favorite director, so I eagerly clicked on this trailer, in anticipation of eventually seeing the film, but the AH impression voice was super annoying and distracting. Because of that, I barely made it through this. If the film itself has this voice for any more than what's here, then count me out. i hope it's only in this trailer.

"Am ready to tell ma story" - why does he sound like a cowboy?

Alistair McGowan doing the Hitchcock voice. (Uk impressionist)

The person doing the voiceover who's pretending to be Alfred Hitchcock doesn't sound anything like him. It's jarring that it's so different.

Just wait until Ai can do the voice over

It's a shame we have to get an impressionist to draw us into the labyrinth of Hitchcock's film psyche. It speaks of a failure of nerve to tackle the subject with the seriousness the French gave the subject.

This documentary about Alfred Hitchcock was a disappointment. I’m glad I rented it on Amazon Prime for $4.99 instead of paying for the dvd or Blu-ray.

I do give it a star for trying to create something about a great filmmaker. I did not care for the Hitchcock voice over throughout the film. I could tell it was someone trying to impersonate him.

There was a few nuggets of information I didn’t know about the director, but it still wasn’t worth the price I paid.

I usually never give a bad review, but this should have been uploaded on YouTube for free. If you want to get a good education about Alfred Hitchcock just start watching all the documentaries on YouTube and watching his films. It will be more educational than “My Name is Alfred Hitchcock.”

I wish the filmmaker screened this film to an audience before taking this to the world.

It does saddens me to write this, but I just want to warn others before investing any of their hard earned money or time.

Alistair McGowan's impersonation is otherwordly. Masterpiece.

Too bad the impersonation is so distracting, not close enough to the real guy. It's a good idea that should be redone using AI.
