Love this chore coat and I love the Real Mcoys. I have a few chore coats, all Japanese brands (Samurai, etc) hickory stripes, a blue one like yours, and I find them very functional and useful and love to travel with them on.I think this is a great choice! And color is perfect

They are great jackets. I purchased my blue French chore coat directly from St. Michel online but also recently had a chance to go to their Le Maris/Paris shop a couple weeks ago; wonderful staff and great to see all the colors and other jackets/shirts/etc.. in person. Well worth the visit!

Thank you for a great review! I received mine today direct from the LMSM factory in France. Their service is awesome. I am the same height as you (5.7) and ordered a size 48. It is very boxy - and big in the chest and length. So I wanted to see how it fitted on someone else. I prefer your more fitted look. But, I'll use mine in autumn and warmers winter days, so will layer a thick sweater under. So, I think I'm going to get the sleeves shortened and live with it a tad big as an exception in my wardrobe to my usually fitted garments. It'll develop a great patina and the brand comes with an awesome story!

I love moleskin fabric it’s so soft and pleasant next to bare skin, if I can only fault one thing with both moleskin shirts and jeans is that the colour looses its vibrant shine and just dulls instead of getting those nice veining and colour washout on movement points.
I have a Flint & Tinder moleskin chore shirt for weekend activities that I absolutely love but I get more comments on my Pointer brand cotton duck shirts because of the fades, both are blue for context.

Would you consider taking a seam ripper to remove the branding on the pocket?

Does it have an inside pocket? For me it's either this or the Vetra, but the Vetra doesn't have sleeve buttons on the button and LMSM seems like it doesn't have an inside pocket lol. Tough decision.
