Thanks for your honest and argumented opinion. I am a huge fan of Canon's autofocus but I've never owned or even tried R6 and R5, and if this is what I am missing in the quality of the autofocus in mine's EOS R, EOS C200 and EOS C70, this is disappointing. I want more from the cameras which I already own, I truly believe I don't need another photo camera with 30 min limit.

Yeah, for a single shooter or talking head you need to rely on good autofocus.
I was really considering this camera as i mostly shoot video.
But i do feel I will go with the the R3, yep you need to deal with ND filters, but the R3 shines in so many other areas and it is cheaper if you add in the booster.
So it is disappointing at this price point, no raw or good autofocus.
Also tascam is developing audio expansion for this camera on the hot shoe.

Great video! Totally agree with you about the autofocus. It just isn't on par with what we get out of the R series cameras. Also too bad that after the firmware update we still can't use LUTs in media review mode. The C70 is still a beast of a camera though.

How not to embed the LUT to the footage your recording through HDMI, I fumbled recorded a whole video not knowing that would happen.. any idea to resolve this matter in canon c70? Please HELP!

Thanks for the video! Finding it hard to justify the price with AF that is inferior to the R5 😓
