Will this transfer live photos and save as Live Photos on the hard drive as well? I organize my photos and videos by date, so I feel like I have to sort and select them individually or in groups. Because once transferred, they aren’t sorted by date and I’ll have to check the info for each image before I can file them in their respective folders.

Bro you didn't even mention that the metadata was inaccurate with the created date matched to libraries created date and not originating device information.
