I put hydrogrip where I have texture or on spots my makeup wears down (my nose cause I wear glasses) and it works great. Putting it all over my face did not work AT ALL.

Thank you! I never bought the hydrogrip because I have some pores and I was worried that it would accentuate them! I'm glad I watched this video before buying the wrong one!

I think instead of dragging the foundation on, buff/stipple it in. I definitely think you’ll get a different result, especially with the hydro grip

In the instructions for the milk hydro primer you actually have to wait for a full minute for it to absorb PLEASE try this product again 😭

I feel like hydro grip is for heavy foundation with a sponge, rather than light foundation witt a brush

im definitely gonna try pore matte. i have glasses and my skin gets very oily throughout the day and i wear oil control foundation and my skin still gets oily

You can’t really compare the two; they each have a different purpose.

tbh i don’t get this video. yes the primers are from the same brand, but they’re advertised to do two completely different things, so obviously the mattifying primer would be smoother and the hydrogrip would be more sticky. (no hate tho❤)
