What a way to finish 2018 and start 2019! 19.1 is excellent! Most obvious is a better-than-ever Nemo! It appears that the Mint team is making great strides under-the-hood; not readily apparent, but your system is becoming more versatile with every release!

I've had issues getting the panel thumbnails to display. There are two settings on the panel thumbnail section that seem to conflict with each other, thus rendering thumbnail viewing inop. I prefer to click the grouped applications to see the thumbnails vs hovering over the icon.

I have a mint 18.3 box and a 19.1 laptop that I just installed two days ago the 18.3 box will play my videos from my NAS just fine but the 19.1 laptop will not play them unless I transfer them to the local drive 19.1 needs work on that end they broke something.

For the first time, i converted an old windows 7 laptop to the new Linux Mint 19.1. To me honest i was kinda scared because i know that Linux is nothing like windows but i found it to look amazing. I love the fact that the developers are trying with each new edition to make the operating system more user friendly so that more people won't be intimidated to make the switch. Great content.

Yes LM19.1 is good if you have right hardware. But since 18.3 Linux Mint turned my lenovo b50-80 laptop in to piece of crap. I mean graphics. And 19 and 19.1 didn't resolved this problem. I tried many destroes with the same result. And I've found only solution - Linux Mint 18.3 with 4.4. 0-141 kernel. My laptop is great again!!!

I like the W10 like panel. Can you pin things on it like in W10? Was the one thing I really liked when I was still using it. But my Windows days are over. Peppermint from now on. Good to see you're feeling better again. The flu really can mess you up.

Not being able to see anything when typing in your password is a security feature. Removing it is bad.
