Welcome back to The Toon Review! In today's episode, Paul dives deep into the latest Newcastle United news and stories that matter most to Toon fans. We begin by addressing the persistent media narrative that Newcastle United is still considered a stepping stone for players who aspire to join bigger clubs.

With the club's recent success and growing stature in the Premier League, this outdated view needs to be challenged. We'll discuss why Newcastle is now a top destination and deserves the respect of pundits and media alike.

Next, we explore the potential transfer of fan favourite Miggy Almiron, who is rumored to be making a move back to the MLS. What does this mean for Newcastle and Miggy's future? We'll analyse the situation and what it could mean for the club's squad depth.

Finally, we'll take a look at the exciting launch of Newcastle United's new away kit, which has been unveiled in a spectacular video. The kit has already generated buzz among fans, and we'll break down why it's a must-have for the upcoming season.

The Newcastle fans that are having a personal attack on Miggy should give there bloody heads a shake because that's not what Newcastle United is all about. Granted, most of us have been complaining about his football on the pitch but it should never get personal as it shouldnt with any of our players. It's not right man.

I'll be glad when the window closes TBH. Sick of the links for our players going and lack of action on players coming in.

I'm a big fan of Miggy he works his shocks off, and yes, he has his faults he would be a good squad player, but there are worse players than him in the squad which we should get rid of first. But if he does go I wish him all the best, he's been a good servant to the club over the years.

Loved to see Gordon’s response when he scored in the SELA Cup, saying “I’m back” to the home fans. HWTL!

That was the the perfect rant regarding Isak, Bruno and Gordon, spot on Paul, it boils my piss the way the pundits and journalists go on. I think our lads are too intelligent to have their head’s turned 👍😊

Isak/Jackson? 😂😂😂. Nice one Paul, I'm a huge comedy fan, but never saw anything that hilarious 👍

Even Connor Gallagher is heading back to Chelsea after spending 5 days in Madrid and passing his medical. They can’t make up their minds, shocking for the lad really 😡

The only reason that any player would join the jokers at Chelsea or Manure is …..Wages, not football. Watch how many games Tosin plays this season. Career ending move.

Agree Paul, just shows how arrogant and self centred the cartel are. Most of the mainstream media are just as bad. I am confident we will quietly continue to build our team and in a few years time start taking their best players. By the way keep up the good work😊❤️

I don't care how much we get, i don't want to lose any of our top players this season, we need to push on and get top 4, and we need those guys to do that.

Totally agree mate, things have changed for the better that’s for sure, it won’t be too long till we shut the rest of the premier league so called top 6 up for good, and boy do I hope we rub it in hard like.
I’ve been a supporter for over 50 years and really looking to the future .
Exciting times indeed

Its going to take a few years for the penny to drop, even some fama are struggling to realise we are not selling club. Years and years of us been that type of club its a bit ingrained and will take a while for everbody to realise we are one of the Elite.

The only team in the premier league for a player to move to for guaranteed trophies is man city, the rest of the premier league has as much chance as Newcastle united, with the best fans in the league, all Newcastle united players are on the up, and is a testament to the program we are all following with success on the horizon for all to bask in, our competitors can kiss are Newcastle united arses 😎

I agree with you Paul, Miggy is not top drawer, but he is a great squad player to have, especially as we haven’t a large pool of players to draw from, and remember last season with all the injuries, I for one think Miggy still has a role to play, so unless we get more cover for his position I hope he stays

I can't understand why so many players want to sign for Chelsea, most of them will sit out the season kicking their heals, look at how many central defenders they have and overall the the size of the squad, when it comes to Liverpool they have a great group of player's and of course and any player joining them would have a fight to get onto a match day bench never mind into the starting eleven. Apart from maybe Manchester City I don't believe any Newcastle player would even risk their career by joining another club at the present time.
