Recent reports suggest that JJ's final pick is likely to complete a move to Girona. So, who are your alternatives?

I miss having Ibrahim Sangaré as a sensible transfer

This feels like an issue of doing Sensible Transfers in the middle of the transfer market, some players suggested are already going elsewhere (Miovski going to Gerona) or you end up with just choosing players that are already linked/in discussions with the club (Thiaw/Guehi).

I do really like these videos, but it feels like they’d be better released early in the market.

Howe will only sign players without PL experience if they’re elite talents. The only (first team) signings he’s made who hadn’t played in the PL before they joined are: Bruno, Botman, Isak & Tonali who are all world class potential level. Only 4 non-PL signings in 6 windows says a lot about how much he values PL experience hence Guehi and the Madueke / Elanga links

Mbeumo, Guehi, Vitor Roque would be an ideal transfer window for Newcastle.

Madueke and Guehi on top of Kelly and Osula would be pretty good window for us

£21m for Thiaw? You need to tell AC that cos they want £35-£40m!

The first 30 seconds of this video are exactly why I will never stop watching content that includes JJ.

As a Porto fan let me say Francisco Conceição is definitely ready for the Premier League. He was Porto's best player last season and what he lacks in strengh and height he makes up for in aceleration and agility. He's a difference maker and most portuguese thought he should've been starting for the national team in the Euros on the right wing instead of Bernardo Silva, moving Bernardo to the middle. His release clause of 45M€ is a joke so I do hope the Newcastle board also has doubts on wether he's ready or not so we can keep him for another year

Big Ups for Conceição. I think he's truly the player Newcastle need right now. A Portugal Man in the Premier is a turn up.

When it doesn't make sense to do sensible transfer video on Chelsea, so they did it on Newcastle

Nit-picking but I think you should differentiate “richest club” vs “richest owners”. The value of Apple isn’t the total net worth of all the shareholders…

My heart... The OG podcast is back (though I loved Jon's one too), and sensible transfers have actually been sensible again for the last 3 videos???

I’ve seen links to Noni Madueke, that move makes sense especially now that Chelsea have bought Neto but I also very much like Mbuemo, he’d be a good upgrade.

Much more watchable changing the speed to 0.75. Great episode though, agree with a lot of it. Would be pleased with any of the suggestions.
The Mbeumo idea is a surprise, loads of Newcastle fans have said he's their dream signing. Would provide cover for the striker as well.

Weird that no one is linked with Chalobah, he's so good for Chelsea, arguably one of the reason why they regain top 6 last season, but now being disrespected by the club, 30mil at most, UCL experience, going into his prime year soon, also English. So underrated, hope Liverpool go and buy him.
