I am really liking this series. Tho' I can't sleep at nights thinking of Turbowski, what's he doing now, is he thinking of me, what does he wear at night, will he ever call, ...

Not that I will ever need any of this, but it was still cool to watch and see what is involved in the process. I know when it's all done it will be very nice.

High CRI with 4100K?? That's quite warm. Very odd combo. But the camera result looks good.
For any space where you work significant time in the evening or even night, daylight fluorescents are a blessing. Even more so for 'cave dwellers' who sit inside a lot, since that will generate vitamin D via UV-B. (I use 5500K with CRI 96. It's like cloudy mid-day, and looking from the corridor I cannot tell whether the room is artifically lit or the shutters are letting cloudy mid-day light in.)
BTW, if you don't have to penny-pinch, consider using covers over fluorescents. Otherwise any weird accident where an object actually hits them up there would cause quite the disaster when the whole room gets dusted with mercury powder.

Excellent video, your YouTube work is really great. Would you mind posting links or more details to which specific light fixtures and bulbs you went with? Thank you!!

There are heaps of geese around the pond here. They are very mean and snap at me and my dog. They also leave slippery, green poop everywhere that my dog will try to roll in.

Excellent guide! Did you paint the walls and ceiling to optimize the lighting, and if so, what shade of white?

Any chance you will talk about the price/rental of the garage itself? I know @obsessedgarage does a similar thing. You brought up a good point in the last video about renting it vs 3 car garage home.

Hey SG, thanks for the informative vid.
Quick question: How/do you plan on dealing with light reflecting off the car's paint? I noticed you don't have any diffusion happening

What about spray booth lights? They're supposed to be as close to sunlight as possible, but I don't know the flicker on them

So was the lighting cost $1200 including materials or just labor?
