hey! i hope you and your family are doing great. I found your channel almost two and a half years ago now, and it’s hard to believe it’s been so long. I took your winter intensive course in 2022 and your summer intensive course in 2023. if you remember an 11 year old taking those classes, that was me haha! I haven’t been practicing asl for over a year now, but I’ve just been so exited to get back into it recently. Can you make a more indepth video about sentence structure? I watched the basic one, but at times I am still confused. For example, I thought “Don’t forget your backpack” would become “you don’t forget your backpack you” but it was just “don’t forget your backpack you”.

I really enjoy and benefit from your sign lessons. Plz allow a suggestion. Students like me are always focused on your hands. At the beginning of each lesson your hands are always moving but you are not signing. I keep telling myself, “Don’t look, she’s not signing, dummy.” I try to cover your non sign gestures with one of my hands or whatever I’m holding🤦🏼‍♂️
Perhaps if you were to sign what you are saying at all times during your lessons it would be beneficial to intensely focused students like me who are forever studying your hands. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. I’m learning bunches.

I work in retail. A few days ago, a mother and her child (approx 2) came the line. I was interacting with the young child and noticed she kept using some hand gestures. She would take an index finger and touch the palm of her other hand, then put her hand (that she touched) to her cheek. Was she saying something?
