Sir I have one doubt that error is true value minus measured value but if measured value is less than true value we should put negetive but why? Answer me sir

Sir I'm confused there is something wrong
confusion! I learned that if measured value is lesser than actual value it'll be +ve and if measured value is greater than actual value than I'll be - ve.

Sir i have one doubt. Least count error is the maximum error that can happen.. right?? Actual error to least count 0.1 se kam vi ho sakta hain na?? Suppose error aya 0.05 to fir uss error ko least count 0.1 kyun bola ja raha hain??
