Would've bought it if I hadn't spent so much on my Ally. I have used a m.2 adapter for a 4tb 2280 SSD and also bought a 40000 mAh (148Wh) 65w Powerbank to juice up while playing to extend the battery. Will miss the USB4 though. As I have a PC with R5 5600X and RX 6800XT, I use that for playing on my desk. But in the future when my PC is 6 y.o. and I'll upgrade it, I'd've loved to use that GPU in a dock to use with Thunderbolt laptops and handhelds. I'll also sadly have to upgrade to a new handheld then. But that is on a future me to worry about.

And here comes the reality from reddit owners forum: Volume buttons seems to periodically stop working

Command centre becomes laggy/unresponsive in game. I would click to change to desktop mode/game mode and nothing would happen or very delayed. Same thing with different performance modes.

Resolution scaling. I thought I could change between 720/900/1080p whenever on the original Ally and everything would automatically adjust in game. Now it seem I have to setup the settings in game ahead of time otherwise if I change from 1080 to 900/720 during a session, everything is too zoomed in.

I love the battery but nah im gonna pass. That screen is such a turnoff. i can get over it not being oled but those thick bezzels annoys me. The onexfly have sexier looking screen despite not being oled.
