I got to say this is the best walkthrough I seen. You are amazing at explaining every steps

Frig THM can be so convoluted sometimes. I too got stuck on the 'What was the flag found on Sophie's desktop? ' I tried a host of things to get access to the desktop but couldn't. THM just says get the answer but it offers nothing in the way of how to get it so I watched this video and you've had to install an external product to get there....which can't be what this task is intending.

THM really need to test rooms out with 20 or so users and get feedback on what difficulties they encounter before releasing it to the general public.

All you had to do really is search for RDP on windows and write the IP address of the machine they gave you.
There you would be able to login as anyother user they wanted you, phillip, sophie etc.

Task 4. - I keep getting `access denied when logged in as Phillip. I did set the permissions. How annoying, thank you for showing the flag - at least I can move to the next task now.

On the windows machine go to run cmd. At command line do: nslookup and take the server info. Now you can put that info in the Remote Desktop connection box under computer. press connect. Put in phillip's user and password. Now your in RDP under Phillip's name.

I start the machine and then Attack Box but instead of the windows GUI in the video, I get the standard linux screen with the terminal icon. What am i doing wrong please?

I think its becasue you had the control panel access restriction "
disabled" and it should be "enabled"
