At one point you walked out a door way and my immediate thought was "welp he just ran off with the thing!" LOL. Looks pretty awesome and a total game-changer for you and others with similar disabilities! But yes agreed that beeping would drive me insane too.

This could be life-changing for so many people. You look badass like RoboCop. I would imagine it's quite expensive. Hopefully, insurance will get on board.

Technology is a wonderful thing. I remember hearing about "robot legs" when scientists were first starting to experiment with this kind of tech. It's amazing to see how far the tech has come in just a few years and honestly brought a few tears to my eyes, when the music started and you were walking around with it outside. Just IMAGINE where this kind of tech is in a couple of decades and the possibilities it can provide for people who need it!

This is SUPER cool and SUPER exciting. I'm really interested to see what the bespoke one looks like, how much smaller and lighter it is, and what exercises will help strengthen back and core for standing that haven't been able to be used as much.

I think it'll be most interesting to see if this increases mobility and options...*without* increasing pain over the rest of the day and the days following.

You did GREAT. And that poor woman, "Hold one of the rails, please..." and you going along and just, well, NOPE.

I am a T8 incomplete break SCI an today in therapy my right leg moved on it own. Thanks for your videos, I am old but only 3 years injured. Fighting sores and wounds but that is our world. Again thanks you helped me with your videos.

Welcome to cyborg club 🥳🥳🥳 It works so similar to my prosthetic leg with stance control, gyroscope, resistance and roll over with the foot. You’r gait is so good and I’m sure will get more natural to you the more you use it. I can imagine it does feel heavy and will zap your energy levels but you will get used to it. So so happy for you Richard have to say watching you gave me goosebumps 😭😭😭 🤗🦿🤗

to every single person with some form of a disability, know this. You guys are the strongest fighters out there and no matter what happens always believe in yourself. You are the greatest driving force for yourselves, and I hope you prove every single person wrong and show your strength.

Man, these YouTube algorithms are bang on! I have a friend that has a paralyzing spinal injury from a mountain biking accident 3 weeks ago, I will be sure to refer him and his family to your channel when he's ready. Thanks for the great content!

Excellent progress! I had to try the earlier prototype. I think they call it The Frankenstein. It was heavy too. But I feel like it’s roughly the same weight of what my old muscle mass was in my leg before and I didn’t think about that back then. You’ll likely forget that you have it on if you get the custom one made for you. Gerry helped me out a lot too. Rethinking the basics of walking. Almost like being a toddler but with an engineer as a coach instead of parents. I really hope this works out for you and this can happen. I’m on month 2 with my fitted C-Brace. It makes a world of difference. And it doesn’t weight as much. The one thing I can suggest... make sure you get good shoes. You’ll have to have two different size shoes for when you wear the C-Brace. I went straight from the VA to the shoe store and got new shoes to celebrate... and added a lift to the opposite foot to keep me forward on my toes. That whole... “feel like you’re falling forwards” helps. Best wishes! Keep rocking forward and upward!

pretty cool, will be interested to know how you feel in recovery after. I always feel like these sort of trials are pretty artificial. When I was getting power wheels for my chair the company was happy enough to loan me a chair with the wheels for a weekend which was really cool to be able to run it through it’s paces completely. If something like that is possible I recommend it. It’s hard to find the problems something could have when the situation is so guided by someone selling it. Better to know what the issues are ahead of time and make a fully informed decision if you can.

This was amazing I'm glad you found something that you think will work for you. My favourite line from this video was "half man half microwave" 🤣 I chucked a little at that.

Per chance the beeping could be replaced with flatulent sounds; that would be a real gas. Cheers!

Congratulations! That was amazing. I can't even imagine how emotional that must have been for you or how much pain you went through later on.

This is groundbreaking! I laughed at him saying "get your fanny back" because it means something a little different in the UK, in the same bodily region 😂 I too have had a spinal cord injury, this brings so much hope ♥️ You only realise how uneven the ground is outside when you're trying to walk and can't feel your feet! You made it look so smooth
