Anaerobic respiration in bacteria is different from fermentation. In anaerobic respiration electron transport chain is present but final election acceptor is any inorganic compound other than oxygen.

hi, I don't wana be mean but thats wrong, ... the glycolysis also uses 2 ATP so the total production of glycolysis is 2 ATP not 4 ^^

i have a doubt. The total ATP produce during anaerobic is 2. Why is it so? Does'nt the ATP from the glycolysis part count ?
