The way she changes her stance is almost like Samus has been standing there waiting for you, the player, to return.

I really love Fusion’s save animation when you go and save the game. I don’t think I’ve seen a cooler looking animation for just saving a game. I sat and just saved my game over and over just to look at it when I first saw it.

Metroid Zero Missions save station will always have a special place in my heart as my first Metroid game.
Prime 1 is also amazing as you become the hunter

I'm a Super Metroid fanboy but 0:20 Zero Mission's version is sublime. Prime 1/2 versions are great too, but they all fit their respective games really well.

Super Metroid and Metroid Prime have the best ones. Super Metroid’s has really cool lighting effects for it’s time.

I love that in the pixel side scrollers had Samus literally get formed as if she wasn't resting but was on a different dimension

Ive always found it curious how in Fusion Samus materializes like if she was made of data.

My favorite fanfare of all time. Super Metroid has always been my favorite game but Dread is a very close second. All of the other Metroid games are also very cool, especially fusion and zero mission. I still need to play the prime games but from what I’ve seen and heard, I’m sure they’re great too

Fun fact, the first Metroid *does* have Save Rooms and jingles, it's just that those are exclusive to the FDS version and had to be cut for the international release
