The US still growing is rather impressive compared to every other Industrial Nation where it is decressing. Like Russia, China, France, Germany, GB, Spain...

I did a small research paper on this, but you’ll find that most first world countries have a birth rate less than 2 (so, there’s less people born than needed to repopulate). The only reason the US even has growth in population is because of immigration.

It’s a little scary to think that some second and third world countries with low living standards and poor education are growing at an average birth rate of 5, and are bound to populate the majority of the world.

I think from an environmental and even social perspective, the growth rate of the population globally should become negative. It is not sustainable having so many people right now.
