Asa, thanks for this great interview with Andy Timmons. Being a guitar player I’m generally not a fan of guitar instrumental music, however I am a massive fan of Andy Timmons. For me, Andy has the very rare combination of phenomenal touch, tone, and technique that most importantly he uses to express his sense of melody, dynamics, and compositions. He always comes across as a great human being too!

Great interview and edit. I was able to meet Andy at the NAMM show this year and hopefully have him come to Hawaii for a specific project I’m working on. We are very blessed to have guys such as him so generously share all these valuable lessons. Thank you for making this video, love it dude!

I found the guitar sound I needed lately, enjoy listening to Andy, first discovered him at 20 years old not digged too much, 20 years later things come to full circle.

Thanks for the great interview! After watching it twice, I wonder whether Andy is the greater musician or the greater philosopher. Where mastery and humility meet, that's where we see true greatness.

Cool Andy mentioned Josh Meader. I used to watch him and his Dad’s gypsy jazz duo every weekend in Sydney busking when he was 13. Knew he had a long career ahead.

Actually, the younger generation are getting back into Guitars and Bass. I’ve just taken on two students teaching Bass., one is 11 the other is 15. They’re both just starting up and they’re really enthusiastic.

It was the Sgt Peppers record that hooked me. And I have told Andy this. I play guitar. I love the Beatles. But putting them together - almost blasphemy! But then I heard the record....fan for friggin' life!
