Thank you for your wonderful video.
I have a question about the intonation patterns in the following questions:
• "Could you please clarify your position on…?"
• "Could you be more specific, please?"
Do these questions typically use rising intonation, as they are Yes/No questions? Or can they be read with a falling intonation, similar to statements like:
• "Please clarify your position."
• "Please be more specific."
I’m curious if they follow the same intonation pattern as "Could I have your attention, please?" which is not a real question but has a firmer, statement-like delivery with falling intonation.
