People don't understand the Mayans *never* said the world would end, the Mayans said the reign of a certain king's lineage would end in 2012. It was all a badly skewed popular urban legend.

i seriously think the mayans knew more about the universe than we know today and they did it without telescopes or any kind of metal for that world will not go from Pisces to Aquarius and that is all

well, although that place said the world would NOT end, the place was covered up because (according to the video) the structure wasn't needed anymore. so, perhaps the maya covered up the place and THEN made the calendar that ends.

regardless, i still don't believe the mayas expected the world to end in 2012, there's enough logical reasons why they wouldn't predict such a thing. all i'm saying is this discovery doesn't say much because the mayas disregarded its information.
