I believe it depicts ferrying a chariot across a river. I've seen this explanation from the British museum. The other men floating are using animal bladders to float across.

Well if they had chariots they had wheels that they had Wheels they had a means to move everything around easily I believe that is a cart in the drawing.

These are still used in the far east two wheels and a plank means they can carry goods with less effort. now they extend the front forks and fit handlebars so they can ride them and it is all made from wood .

These are soldiers from city of Nimrud, the one above is holding on to a floater thingy, probably made from animal skins. Helped to hide underwater. 😊

The mural depiction clearly shows a soldier pulling his chariot. The wooden draught pole is hanging over the wheel of the chariot immediately in front of him. It was not uncommon for soldiers to pull their chariot over rough terrain so as to avoid damage to the wooden frame or wheels.

That's definitely a two-wheeled vehicle.

So, me Bro had a bike.
We used it to ride from monolith to monolith and carve our messages in the monoliths.
Born to be wild!

He is walking with the wheeled device UNDERWATER (see the guy swimming and the swirls of water??) Those are some big wheels too... more atv/submersible vehicle style than the wheels on their "ground" wheels.

maybe the carving on this wall is older than the era of the people who are carving, maybe the era that is carving is 9x more sophisticated than the era we have.

I wouldn't doubt they had carts like that to better help themselves with tasks. A brake lever, that is visible. He's walking next to it so he's not driving

I've seen a video of a similar carving from Bali which depicts combination of car / motorcycle / biplane in the one image.

Dont know if you áre aware of this.
A)Assyria had the first profesional army.
B) in the Vietnam war, the VC used bicycles as cargo vehicles, pushed on foto, thru the jungle.
C) could it be posible that the Assyrians creates this non pedal bycicle for it's infantry to transport their heavier loads?
