CDJ Slip Mode Tutorial / Demo

A little demo / tutorial video showing some creative uses for the slip mode on Pioneers latest CDJ range.

Great to see you back on YouTube! I stumbled across the original videos you done for pioneer on the 900's when I was lookin to get some new cd decks and found the videos very helpful as there wasn't many people demoing the features with the harder styles. Great video :D

Iv always wondered slip mode feature but never used or understood it but now I do and makes sense Iv without slip mode on my reverse tracks sound awful but now in synce, thanks for the video and explanation of slip mode👍

Totally digging this video as I have seen the term slip mode around before in various video descriptions and having never used CDJ's I am unfamiliar with their operation.  This information will definitely give my ears something else to focus on whilst at clubs.  Cheers Kutski,

If slip mode is on and you wanna jump the cue you wouldve to turn the slip mode off? As it would only work till the time you press it.

Hei John - sadly only got to see the last 5 mins of the set at DQ1 this year, but massively enjoyed the set last year with all the little tricks you can hear that you do in the background. How much of these things do you use on a festival like DQ? And what's the setup you have at home these days? Been running with my DJM600+CDJ1000mk2's + sl1210mk2's together with a Traktor Scratch +X1+F1 based setup for the last few years and have been debating upgrading the Pioneer stuff to nexus (DJM900nxs + CDJ2000nxs).

Neat seeing how things can be done in the CDJ part of things as one often tends to end up using pads like X1 or F1 to do creative stuff these days.
