I can feel for Mr X. I liked his clarity of thought. You are not alone buddy. There are many like you in the country you live in. Please note there's a huge community of free thinkers there too. You may have come out of your religion and you don't believe in other religions too but please don't feel isolated. There's a big community of free thinkers who could be your go to community, your in- group so to say.

I couldn't help rolling my eyes when generalali asked at 2:10:01 whether time could have been "calculated differently" in a way that meant 16 at the time. How? In what way? What kind of calculation would lead to that? Why did it change? Did people just collectively forget about it?

4:45 Debater keeps shape shifting to suit himself. First, he insists on discussing this only a theist and keeping Islam and its scripture out of it, then when it suites him, slips Allah and Quran Centric view of Monotheism into the conversation. He’s a slippery one!

She’s demonstrated a high level of self awareness that I didn’t have when I left Islam back in the 90’s. I wish we had people the like Aladdin and the Friendly exmuslim and Hasan Redwan back then for those of us who were struggling with our Deen in isolation.

The Quran is a combination of fiction and non fiction and even if it was classified as non fiction that doesn’t mean that everything in it is the objective truth. Autobiographies are classified as non fiction but that doesn’t mean they are 100% factually accurate because the author has the opportunity to embellish. Also someone may write about their daily encounters with a god which they genuinely believe to have occurred but that doesn’t mean that god exists ( however that book could be classed as non fiction).
