There's a simple fix for this... when you ship an the weight is recorded. An empty box doesn't weigh the same as a box with shoes in it. So if there's a weight different in the shipping and received package then they know at least the seller sent something in the box so he's not the liar.

Ship through UPS and tell them it is a over $5000 shipment. They specially ship it with security cameras following it's entire process.

Every time I ship something of value I always record myself packaging it and dropping it off

When I worked at ups as a package handler, high value items are put in bright white bags and given to us to put on the truck. Very obvious for thieves to steal the expensive stuff.

Yes. Yes you do. I work for a liquor distributor, and we have cameras in the warehouse that watch the conveyor belt to see what goes where, and in the truck to see who's in the truck, and the trucks are tracked, and the loaders have to scan stuff they put in the trucks so a digital manifest is made. You need more than cameras.

Most deff got stolen by the custom (teens & young adults) at the post office who clear the boxes 📦 for transit before they’re put on the truck. They checked the box. Seen the off whites. And clipped them. Then sent the box on truck for transit. Probably Happens more often than we think.

The sellers should send it to like a stock x head quarters to protect the customer and seller from stuff like this
