The space race in the coming years will enter its most important stages when countries will continuously take bolder steps on important fronts like the Moon or Mars.
The US is currently the country leading most races, but it seems they are facing an extremely urgent problem, the ISS's upcoming retirement. It can be said that the space station is considered a crucial element to all US space strategies and it would be a great disadvantage for them if they lost this support. So in the last operational years of the ISS, the task of NASA and other companies will be to create at least one space station that can replace this legendary space station.

To achieve that goal, NASA awarded many contracts to private companies to build the new space station. Most recently, they announced the Collaborations for Commercial Space Capabilities-2 (CCSC-2) initiative that included seven US private companies. Among these, SpaceX's project attracts a lot of attention because it has many differences compared to the other projects.
So what are those differences?
Well, unlike other stations, SpaceX plans to build a space station based on its largest vehicle, Starship. Starship has long been designed with a vast interior space capable of carrying up to 100 people to Mars on each mission.

I don't know how complicated, hard, etc. it would be? But combine the Merlin, R2, and R3's in the booster, and R'3's in the ship? Or... due to R3's small powerful size, R2's on the outer ring, and R3's in the middle? With the Ship only with R3's (especially with the recent re-light), and the Merlin's, well, they have to be on the ship somewhere for the vacuum.

Since Raptor 3 is introducing 3D printing to engine technology, there isn't much visible in its reveal. Overall, internal design may impact efficency and, therefore, specific impulse without causing a lot of visible changes to the engine. One of the hardest parts to machine in the Saturn V F1 engine was its combustion nozzle plate. It's the primary reason RS-25 was developed for the shuttle instead of trying to reproduce F1. Who knows what is being redesigned and printed into Raptor 3. Only a few highly prized and no doubt secret/proprietary individuals know what a visibly similar 3.x is capable of?

With Jared taking over NASA. Maybe Space X can develop a Nuclear Rocket engine. It maybe a spin off of the Raptor with the high combustion chamber with better cooling.

Think about how well an engine whould work.pinch the exhaust in low atmosphere, then bloom the bell as it it gets into lower and lower atmospheric pressures?

Add Augmented Reality interfaces to optimus robots, then the robots can be directed to do many task, while human personel remain safe in their radiation proof conditioned enviroment. Robots can work 24/7 on the surface expanding the base with humans managing them. Humans are usually restricted to 4-6 hours daily surface work due to working in cumbersome space suits and the hazardous working conditions.

Building a perminant base at the bottom of the Valles Marineris canyon 2500 miles long, 120 miles wide, 7 miles deep allows access to planatary resources, frozen water. Lies in the more sunny temperate central region on Mars avoiding the negative temperature swimgs of the poles.

Hi Elon hay this idea to bring the International space station into earth's atmosphere my idea would use fishing net like they use for industrial fishing I think if you get serval of those net hooked together you use 4 dragon space craft rockets 🚀 they would be hooked to the dragons all the dragons would be remotcontrolled so if anything goes wrong everyone would live for another day. Hope you like the Idea.

I'm not impressed with Blue Origin reason is they aren't even keeping up with their contract and in a way they remained me of Boeing excuses and not showing any of there progress. Wheeling out a rocket 🚀 with covers over the engines isn't impressing what would impresse me would launching there rockets repeatedly that would impresse me oh and being on contract with out any overages on the contract.
