The wildest part of this movie is just, like, WHY? The doctor looked so excited about his scientific breakthrough sin against nature super locusts but like never even once explains why he made them or what purpose they would even serve??? Did he do it cause he thought it'd be funny? Does he think locusts are cute? I am at a loss.

I thought it was really sweet that the two locusts who escaped took the time to find the other two who were still in the jar and set them free. Maybe the two girls had to rescue the two boys or vice versa. Either way it would have been an epic adventure story in the annals of locust legends.

Huge plot hole, if only one or two of those bugs could start this, then it would never end. The chance that every bug was by the powerlines at the same time is ridiculous

Idk if anyone else has heard of this movie, but I remember being at a hospital (for a family member) and they played a movie that also had bugs. They would eat ANYTHING in their path, including metal, so there was one scene where they ate a truck I believe. Also, there was another scene where they sent someone into a closed container with a huge head in it that contained all the bugs, and the guy was collecting samples from the bugs (he was wearing a suit). Well, the bugs started to eat through the suit and when he asked to come out of the container, they wouldn't let him out, so he was eaten alive by the bugs. Idk what the name of the movie was or what type of bug was featured, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know. It's been a few years and I can't find the movie.

I like how the one guy bled out from locust bites 😂 Even if they did turn carnivorus, they couldn't do that much damage in a shirt time. They definitely couldn't Bute through clothing and such, so seems to be just for dramatic effect lol

Many years ago, our subdivision in a valley had a week-long locusts attack . It was everywhere! The road was littered with creepy crawler too. It was the weirdest, traumatic for most of us. They did not attack us, just a pest everywhere.
