SUCH a weird feeling having a CPU with no pins. You pull that lever down and you're like "I've quadruple checked the alignment but this still feels wrong as that's a lot of pressure pushing down!"

I’ve been catching up on the past 3-4 years of tech trying to figure out what I want my new build to be (I currently have an i7-2600 in an old Optiplex and a 3GB 1060, with a 2060 on the way). I find that the 7000 series is worth the couple extra hundred dollars to have something more powerful and most definitely more future proof and upgradable.

I just upgraded to this CPU thinking the stock cooler would be fine. Spoilers: IT IS NOT. I booted up cod and was hitting 93 Celsius. Get an aftermarket cooler for this one. Note i am living in a cold environment since it's winter here right now and i have a good mesh case with 4 fans.

nice video, thank u, but with the stock cooler, the CPU temp is very high, always running around 70c . I recommend another cooler like cooler master, noctua, or a water cooling system.
