How can you maximize your chances of conception?

How is one maximizing the benefit of sperm being able to live for a long time in the female reproductive tract by having sex on the night of ovulation instead of days before??. Then I am also wondering how sex 48 hours after ovulation serves to maximize fertility

I have read multiple studies suggesting the day before ovulation has the highest chance of conception. The day after almost 0.
In general, if you have sex during the 2 days before and/or on day of ovulation you have a good chance.
Another study also suggested that having sex during other times of the months was alsp correlated to higher conception rates. They said that it primes the immune system of the woman not to kill the "foreign" sperm cells.
And if a man has no health restrictions. "Saving up" is unnecessary.

If you don't want to track ovulation. Having sex every other day after the end of your period to about day 16 (depending on your cycle length) should in most cases target your fertile window.

Tracking (cervical)mucus is in my opinion the easiest. But can differ between women.
