If you think that capturing 1 pip is not enough....
Have a think about how many times in 1 trading day that you can capture a net 1 pip....
It's probably in the area of 200 - 1000 times....
Wouldn't you be happy with 200 - 1000 pips per day????
Most traders don't get anywhere near that, let alone on a daily basis!

There are MANY MORE 1 - 5 pip per day trades than there are 10 - 20+ pip trades...
This is why Scalpers SCALP!!!!
The opportunity for profit is far more prevalent!

Of course, Scalping does not suite everybody.
In fact, it only suits a minority of traders....
The question is, does it suit you, doers it suit your mentality, does it suit your way of trading?

Many people make a good living looking for 5 pip trades, and just keep repeating it all day....
If it suits you, and you can become disciplined, and learn the trading skillset, scalping 1 - 5pip trades could serve you well....

One of the huge secrets of Forex Trading is having the discipline to spend over 1,000 hours in front of your screen(s), watching and trading.
After 1,000 hours, you should start becoming competent....
Remember, professional athletes often say that it takes 10,000 hours for the skillset to start becoming truly part of you, and muscle memory to really start taking effect....
However, THAT is what it takes to get out of the mediocrity and towards the top levels of your game....
To bring your 'A Game', you have to dedicate the hours to learning, skilling, developing instincts, recognising patterns as they unfold before your eyes in real time....

IF trading was easy, everybody would be good at it!!!!!

I have a strategy i made myself for capturing 1 pip moves on the EUR/USD. Question is, in reality with lets say a well known broker (e.g Blackbull markets), where you can access decent leverage to make scalping 1 pip worth it. Would you be in profit after each 1 pip move or will commissions, slippage just kill off any or most of the profit?
