I got YSS shocks for my CB1300. They started leaking a bit at around 22kmiles, but they were still under 2yr warranty. The supplier in UK(Wemoto) send replacement the next day and the new ones have been trouble-free for almost 40k. I highly recommend them.

I just fitted a yss on my bandit 1200 mark 2 ‘ it’s made a hell of a difference from the stock one and yes very easy to adjust. Good video and information. Top job

Hi Ocker friend ! My new 2022 Triumph Bonneville T120 Matt Black arrives in early February. NZ leading motorcycle shocks experts is ordering the YSS. 1700 bucks kiwi dollars. He told me it was not worth spending 2700 bucks Ohlins which weren’t going to be any better. And I am happy that you find your new shock far superior than your old one.

Auckland city.

Yss is amazing. I weigh 280lbs have a pcx 150 scoot, did the yss upgrade in the front forks with bel ray 15w fork oil and g series rear with the reservoir and it feels so much better going down the road. Found 18 turns from top on preload was perfect. If yss makes shocks (front or rear) for your bike get them.

Getting the suspension set up for my weight on my dirtybike and my Moto Guzzi V7 helped transform how the bikes felt.
I wish we were allowed to get out and about, hopefully in March we'll have some of our movement restrictions lifted.

Good to see some real-world experience on this brand (especially on the same GSX-S1000 model as mine). I am living in Australia and the local distributor "Suspension R US" who imports YSS brand also sells Nitron shock for GSX so I am in dilemma with these two brands, to be more specific between Nitron NTR R1 (A$995) and YSS MX456W Hi-Lo (A$1250). Your reviews indeed make me more inclined to YSS despite it is made in Thailand not UK.

Country roads can be quite bumpy, I notice it a lot on my country rides on the Kawasaki Versys X300 which I have considered upgrading the suspension. Great video.👍

I've got a YSS shock on my Blackbird. They are, as you say, a great shock for the price and do make a difference.

Installed the front suspension kit and rear shock on my Himalayan and it rides just as stiff as the stock to the point that I wonder if I got the wrong parts. Big waste of money and very disappointed. My mountain bike rides better. I feel like the saying "a cheap person pays twice" applies to me now. Money poorly spent.

Early morning rides. The best. And the new shock is the cream on top, I reckon !!

I hear those marsupial chickens like to cross the road. Gotta watch out for them! :)

I don't know why manufacturers employ cheap Suspension on their bikes. The Hagons i put on the Triumph made a huge difference.
