Good one OTBW. Looking forward to hear more after you spend more time on them. Most likely the best performance upgrade you could do. Pity they don't do kits for the KLX250s. They do springs for the front for a good price, and a rear shock, but out of my budget. I committed to MPE @ Baringa front and rear seals/springs/bumpstop & most likely with Gold valves to the forks with Paul reworking the rear valving somewhat. Drop them off next week. Cheers, , And stay on that seat. 🙂

I bought the Shock from YSS in Europe for my 2009 KLR in Ecuador.
After 10 months of use it started leaking oil heavily.
Because of having it bought in Europe it did not make any sense to contact the seller.
So I tried to contact YSS directly via different channels but there was no answer.
It means I had to look by myself for spare parts and somebody who repaired it and also pay it myself.
At the moment it works but I definitely would not recommend this Shock to friends.

Thanks for the video
I'm keen to upgrade the xt600e suspension
Which front suspension did you get?
I was considering progressive but seems like you have adjustable forks

Crazy good content m8, so could you do a comprehensive video of all the mods you've done, and total cost?
Would love to see it 🤘

So how do you find the suspension now? I have a CB500x and wanting to upgrade stock suspension…especially after the last RAM Rally. Cheers. If only the discount codes worked for for non KLR items 😂

With all the upgrades how close do you think you are getting to the price of a T7 or something in the same price range? It is good to know that the changes make the ride much better.

So one complaint I often hear about on the KLR off road is the stock suspension feels like a pogo stick (very bouncy). Did you have the same impression of stock and did the upgrade address that issue?

do you think it would be worth it to do just the forks? im not too heavy a rider and just want to fix up the forks from diving but not sure if suspension is a both or none kind of job

Is any of the springs (front/rear) progressive? Or just a simple linear replacement with better spring rate (for the weight)?

How many rpm are you when going 65mph? Any estimate if you don't know? I'm 4000-4200 rpm at 65mph on a flat paved road.

I have a 2022. I just lowered it an inch with links and now the suspension feels softer. Do you think this shock would work well with lowering links?
