3 Minutes: 2023 Cadillac XT5 on Everyman Driver
Показать описание
The Cadillac XT5 combines bold Cadillac styling with the versatility of a compact crossover. Think of it as a baby Cadillac Escalade with smaller dimensions but the same distinctive look. In a crowded segment, that bold styling helps the XT5 stand out. Buyers who want an athletic look can choose the Sport trim, while the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims are more traditionally styled. The XT5 is shorter than the Lexus RX, but it's about the same size as the more luxurious Lincoln Nautilus or Genesis GV70, and it offers a surprising amount of features for its price. The Volvo XC60, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz are also rivals. The Cadillac XT5 has a high level of luxury, a comfortable cabin, and good features, making it a well-rounded option.
The Cadillac XT5 offers a choice of two engines: a 235-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or 310-hp 3.6-liter V6 mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both engines perform well, but the base four-cylinder provides less power than the entry-level engines in many of the XT5's challengers. The V6 engine is more in line with competitors in terms of output, but it doesn't feel as refined when pushed hard.
The Lincoln Nautilus offers two engines, including a 335-hp twin-turbocharged V6 with much stronger performance. The Genesis GV70 has two more powerful engines available and will be adding an electric option. An all-new Lexus RX arrives for 2023 with four new engines that include gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid options.
